| Welcome,
I’m the current owner of Buchanan Studios
and my name is Les Forbes. I have had the
pleasure to be associated with several of the
West of Scotland’s top studios over the last
twenty years including Fine Lines, Jay’s of
Glasgow and Ian Barry. Each of these studios has
afforded me an infinite wealth of diversity and
experience. In this
current millennium, I have just reached,
coincidentally, my two thousandth wedding, not
counting perhaps, a further one hundred or so,
that I have been sub-contracted to, when my
colleagues have fallen ill, or there has been a
new addition to their family.
Weddings can be very much the
same each week...same church, same park, same
hotel or reception venue but always, I am glad to
say, the same bride, groom, and bridal party with
all excitement and anticipation of the big day to
unfold. You could be forgiven into thinking it
gets very mundane for an old hand like myself.
But not a bit of it!
What makes it exciting to me
every week, are the people! They are always
different with all their own individual character
traits. This to me is the challenge! To create a
selection of bridal photographs which reflect the
atmosphere and fun of the day.
